Capabilities
What we make
Dress Rental Supplier manufacturing capabilities
Rental changes the economics of a garment. One dress is worn many times by different bodies, cleaned between each wearing, and has to look new every time. That inverts the usual priorities: durability, cleanability and fit tolerance matter more than a marginal saving on fabric.
- Rental-rail occasionwear
- Adjustable and elasticated constructions
- Laundering-tolerant fabrics and trims
- Reinforced stress points
- Colourfast, mark-resistant colourways
- Piecemeal reorders through the season
Constructions
What we build in this category
Each of these is developed as its own programme: its own block, its own interlining and its own sample round.
Cleaning is the real wear
A rental dress is washed far more often than it is worn. Trims, linings and interfacings are chosen for the wash cycle, not for the first evening.
It has to fit many bodies, not one
Adjustable closures, elasticated panels and generous seam allowances let one size serve a range of customers, which is what keeps utilisation up.
Reorders are the business model
A rental range is reordered piece by piece as garments retire, so the approved sample and the material lot references have to stay on file.
Inside the work
How these garments get made here
Pattern, sample, construction and material — the four stages that decide whether the finished garment matches the one you approved.

Development process
From reference to bulk in five steps
- 1
Utilisation brief
We start from how many cycles a piece must take and how it is cleaned, because both change the materials.
- 2
Wash-tolerant materials
Fabric, lining, interfacing and trim are specified for the cleaning method, and colourfastness is confirmed before bulk.
- 3
Sample and cycle check
The sample is built with the reinforcements in place and checked for how it recovers after cleaning.
- 4
Approval and lot retention
The approved sample and the material lot references are held on file so piecemeal reorders match.
- 5
Production and inspection
Production runs against the approved sample, with stress points and closures inspected as separate operations.
