About
20 Years of Womenswear OEM & ODM Experience
We are a womenswear manufacturer with production facilities in Guangzhou and Dongguan and in-house pattern making, sampling and quality control. Buyers are welcome to visit the production floors.
Who we are
Two decades of womenswear manufacturing, organised as one supply chain
Luxudress has 20 years of experience in women’s clothing OEM and ODM. Sample room, pattern making, finishing QC and sales run from our Guangzhou office; pattern-to-pack production runs through a long-term manufacturing partner in the same province. The handoff is internal, which is why a repeat order comes back matching the sample you approved.
We are not a trading layer. The person who answers your construction question reads the pattern in our Guangzhou sample room, and the bulk run that follows is on the same equipment class as the one that made your sample.
What we make
We support a broad range of womenswear, including dresses, outerwear, skirts, blazers, tops, coordinated sets and sleepwear. Development is organised around each category’s fabric, fit, construction and production requirements.
Who we make it for
Fashion brands, DTC brands, boutique labels, retailers, wholesalers, marketplace sellers, independent designers and first-time founders. The range is wide because the underlying problem is the same — getting a garment made the way it was designed, on a date that works.

Capability
What the production chain looks like
The capacity and delivery figures below describe our main production partner in Dongguan and are given as indicative ranges. Production capacity and scheduling are confirmed against your category, construction and order requirements.
50+ brands served
From independent labels launching their first range to retail programmes running a season. The conversations are different, but the underlying production problem is the same.
8M+ pcs through partner facility
Annual output capacity through our production partner in Dongguan. The figure is the partner’s own published number, not a headline we wrote.
80+ countries
Ship-to experience across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Oceania. Documents and labelling are quoted against the destination, not assumed.
85%+ reorder rate
Brands that place one order place a second. The figure is a retained rate, not a snapshot of a campaign window.
6 designers + 18 sample makers
Designers and sample makers on the production partner’s team, with a working background in womenswear. Construction questions are answered by the people who draft the pattern.
98% on-time delivery
Dispatched against the production calendar that was quoted against. A date that cannot be met at the quoted method is raised at quotation, not at dispatch.
Quality control
Six-step inspection
Inspection runs at six defined points, not just at the end. Each step has a written criterion and a retained record, so a fault found late can be traced back to the step that should have caught it.
The same criterion is used to approve the development sample and to release the bulk. A sample approved against this list is a sample that survives production; a sample approved against a final look only is the more common reason a first bulk disappoints.
- Material inspection on receipt
- In-line cutting QC
- In-line sewing QC
- Finishing and trim QC
- Pressing and appearance QC
- Final AQL inspection before packing
Typical sample lead time: 7–15 days for a construction we hold, longer where the silhouette is new — confirmed against the actual style rather than published as one number. The full QC reference list is available on request.
Inside the workshop
What the building contains
Pattern, cutting, sewing, finishing and packing run under one roof on the production floors in Guangzhou and Dongguan. The sequence below follows a garment from fabric storage through to dispatch.

What we can evidence
Published facts, and honest gaps
Manufacturing websites tend to publish impressive numbers that nobody can check. We would rather publish what is verifiable and mark the rest.

What we do not publish, and why
A single headline MOQ, lead time or capacity figure is misleading for this business, because the real number depends on the style, the material and the finishing involved. A garment on stock fabric in one colour and the same garment in a bespoke fabric in four colours are different projects with different minimums.
So we confirm these against your actual specification instead of publishing a number that changes the moment the fabric is chosen. If you want a figure to plan against, send the style and we will give you a real one.
How we work
Four principles that shape every order
The sample is the standard
Bulk is measured against a physical approved sample, retained by both sides. That turns every quality conversation into a measurement rather than an opinion.
Say what is not possible
A construction that will not hold, or a price that will not work, is raised at technical review. Finding out after the sample costs a month.
Dates are stated, not promised
If a delivery date is not achievable at the quoted method, we say so at quotation rather than at dispatch.
Development is recorded
Patterns, approved materials and specifications are kept on file, so a repeat order does not re-open decisions that were already made.
Questions
About working with us
How do I start a project with you?
Send whatever you have — a tech pack, a sketch, a reference photo, or a sample garment. We read it, tell you what is missing, and come back with a quotation and a sample plan. There is no cost and no obligation in that first exchange.
The nine-point checklist is the fastest route because it covers the details we would otherwise have to ask for one email at a time.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Custom minimums are confirmed by style, colour, fabric and production method. A stock fabric in one colour behaves very differently from a bespoke fabric in four, so the number moves with the specification.
Ready-stock quantities depend on current availability. Send your target quantity and we will confirm a suitable order plan before you commit to a production run.
Can I order a sample before committing to bulk?
Yes. Sampling before bulk is the standard route here, and it is the cheapest way to reduce risk. A sample costs a fraction of a production run, and it is the only way to judge fit, proportion and fabric hand on a real garment.
The approved sample is then retained as the physical standard that bulk production is measured against.
What do you need from me to quote?
Four things make a quotation accurate rather than indicative: the design intent, the target price, the expected quantity, and the date the goods need to be in hand.
Design intent can be a tech pack, a sketch, a reference photograph or a sample garment. The other three decide which materials and construction methods are even available to you.
Do you work from a reference photo rather than a tech pack?
Yes. We read the construction from photographs and reference garments, identify the fabric and finish methods, and tell you honestly what will and will not reproduce at a production price.
What we cannot do is guarantee a match to a garment we have never handled. If the reference is important, sending the physical garment shortens the process considerably.
How long does production take?
Lead time depends on the style, the material and the finishing involved, so it is confirmed at quotation against your actual specification rather than published as a single number.
What we will do is work backwards from the date the goods must arrive, and tell you at quotation whether that date is achievable — rather than confirming a schedule and missing it.
Can you work with my own pattern and materials?
Yes. That is the cut, make and finish route: you supply the graded pattern, the approved sample and the materials, and we cut, sew, finish, inspect and pack to your specification.
In that arrangement our responsibility covers workmanship and construction. The quality of incoming material remains with you, which is worth being explicit about before the order.
Do you handle labels, packaging and shipping?
Yes. Woven labels, size labels, care labelling matched to your destination market, hangtags, packing to your specification and export documentation are all part of the service.
Tell us the sales channel — retail-ready, e-commerce and wholesale packing are three different specifications, and packing to the wrong one costs a re-pack.
Which markets do you ship to?
We ship internationally, with consolidated dispatch for multi-style orders so that several styles do not become several shipments.
Freight method is chosen backwards from the date the goods need to arrive. If you have a nominated forwarder, we are happy to work with them.

Tell us what you are making
A tech pack, a sketch or a reference photo is enough to start. We will tell you what is missing and what it would take.
