Product development is where a garment's cost and quality are actually decided. By the time a style reaches bulk production, the fabric is chosen, the construction method is fixed and the pattern is locked — the only remaining variable is execution.
We treat development as a sequence of decisions with a sample attached to each one. Every round answers a specific question: does the fabric behave, does the fit work, does the construction hold at speed.
The deliverable is a specification package, not just a garment. A style that is developed properly can be repeated, costed and handed to any production line without re-opening the design questions.

Stage by stage
- Design and technical read
We take the design intent, identify the construction, and flag anything that will not survive production at your target price.
- Material development
Fabric, lining and trims are sourced against the specification and presented as physical swatches for approval.
- Pattern drafting
The pattern is drafted and the construction method is documented step by step, so it can be reproduced.
- Sample rounds
Each round answers a specific question — fabric behaviour, fit, construction — rather than being a general look at the garment.
- Specification lock
The approved sample, pattern and material list are recorded and locked as the standard for bulk and repeats.
