Swimwear brand Onewith secures utility patent

Onewith_ the dig-free_ elastic-free_ second-skin swimwear brand_ which received investment on ABC_s _Shark Tank_ TV show earlier this year_ has secured a utility patent with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for its one-of-a-kind construction.

The process to receive the patent took the brand more than four years and validates the brand_s innovative approach to swimwear that is designed to fit like “no-show underwear”.

Unlike design patents_ which protect how something looks_ a utility patent protects how something works and secures the proprietary design and functional innovation behind Onewith_s signature dig-free_ raw-cut_ elastic-free suits_ which feature a soft_ flexible inner grip inside to keep the swimsuit secure_ rather than tight seams.
