Hollister partners with Taco Bell for Y2K capsule collection
US teen retailer Hollister has partnered with the iconic fast-food chain Taco Bell to create a limited-edition capsule collection. As one of the most popular food chains in the US_ the collaboration between the two seems like a natural fit.
Launching in time for the holiday season_ the debut collaboration between the two aims to deliver “equal parts cozy and nostalgic.” Launching in stores and online on December 1_ the capsule collection is inspired by Y2K and includes 11 styles for men and women_ including graphic tees_ hoodies_ and sweatpants.
Key items in the collection include Hollister_s classic Feel Good Fleece hoodies and sweatpants with Taco Bell_s signature graphic branding and loose-fitting denim_ with Y2K-inspired cuts bearing Taco Bell_s infamous hot sauce lineup.

Created as a capsule collection for all_ each piece in the collection is designed to mix and match. In addition_ all of the designs aim to mix a feeling of comfort and coziness with a fashion-driven edge_ reflecting Taco Bell_s essence through bright prints and colors.
“Through our Decades Y2K campaign earlier in the year_ we learned that nostalgia resonates most when it moves the brand forward. For us_ it_s about celebrating what made Taco Bell iconic in the first place_ while reimagining it for a new generation_” said Luis Restrepo_ chief marketing officer at Taco Bell_ in a statement.
“This collaboration with Hollister is another bold way we_re bringing the brand to life beyond the menu_ giving fans something fresh and unexpected that lets them show their love for Taco Bell in a whole new way.”
