Launching for spring/summer 2026_ the clothing line builds on the footwear label_s ambitions to dress its customers “above the ankle_” and forms part of the luxury brand_s growth strategy to drive growth for the future_ following the success of adding a few “curated” apparel pieces into its autumn 2025 collection_ which were highly sought after from its customers.
“Whilst the mainstay of the business remains footwear and accessories_ we believe in creating a whole new world for our footwear_ culminating in a lifestyle concept that lives and breathes the Penelope Chilvers aesthetic_” said founder and designer Penelope Chilvers in the SS26 lookbook. “Where our belief in purposeful product; and an admiration of rare and decorative craftsmanship remains protagonist. The SS26 collection offers four drops_ two for spring_ followed by two summer drops starting in March_ designed to offer “essential pieces_” which work hard in any wardrobe. The brand is also keen to champion sustainability with its clothing_ preferring biodegradable materials and designs that limit waste.

These are designed to sit alongside the brand_s hardy cowhide _Siesta_ sandal on a crepe sole_ and _The Fortune Teller_s_ bag to form “a safari style edit with a difference”.
For spring drop 2_ Chilvers has been inspired by the textures and colours of the streets of Notting Hill in London_ with the boxy _Practically Perfect_ jacket made from a durable 100 percent two-tone cotton canvas_ designed to be a “true go-to layer_” with matching cargo trousers in patched canvas_ alongside striped blouses and knitted tank tops made in limited quantise in family-run factories in Portugal using Alpaca and Merino wool. Other highlights include floral printed cotton dresses and blouses_ and denim skirts and jodhpurs.
